Joel married his best friend Heather in 2001. They have two daughters, Elliot and Norah. Joel grew up in Ocala, FL and graduated from UF in 1999. Joel’s call into full time ministry has taken him through Youth Ministry, Camping Ministry, and now serving alongside college students in Gainesville, FL.

Rev. Lisa Degrenia

Senior Pastor at Coronado Community UMC in New Smyrna Beach, FL

Lisa has over thirty years of ministry experience as a church music director and pastor. She enjoys photography, cooking, writing, and travel. Lisa is married to Ed Degrenia, Retired Senior Master Sargent with the Air Force Reserves, having completed 27 years of service and 8 deployments across the world. Lisa and Ed are blessed with two grown daughters, two sons-in-love, and two dogs.


Rev. Jose Nieves

Lead Pastor at FUMC Kissimmee in Kissimmee, FL 

Pastor José, a native of Bayamón, Puerto Rico, graduated from Evangel University (Springfield, MO) and earned his Masters in Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary (Orlando, Fl). He is ordained as a Full Elder in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church. For over ten years he has been at the service of the Kissimmee area at Casa de Paz UMC and First Kissimmee UMC. Pastor José has been named Volunteer of the Year by the Osceola School District for his services to local schools including the All Pro Dad and iMOM programs. He continues to find new ways to strengthen the community. Pastor Jose is married to Libby and has three handsome boys: Ely, Lucas and Daniel. On his time off, José enjoys everything basketball related, including coaching and rooting for the Orlando Magic! #GoMagic


Rev. Roy Terry IV

Senior Pastor at Cornerstone UMC in Naples, FL

Rev. Roy is a true Floridian having been born in Sarasota, FL. Rev. Roy and his family settled in Naples in the late 1970’s after moving around the country for several years with his father’s college football coaching career. He attended local schools and graduated from Naples High School. Rev. Roy received his undergraduate degree in Religion and Christian Education from Florida Southern College in Lakeland and his Master of Divinity from Duke Divinity School in Durham, NC.
